New Home Plan Review
We have developed a portfolio of functional and pleasing home designs in collaboration with our in-house Architectural Team. Having access to these resources has allowed us to develop a broad arrangement of preplanned options to help you personalize your home. During the new home plan review meeting, we will review the various areas of your home and discuss any desired custom changes to help add to your homes functionality, based on your lifestyle.
Color Selection for your New Home
A pleasing palette of interior and exterior finishes has been assembled at our Design Centers to showcase the quality of included features and available custom options. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through the selection process and demonstrate all the available products that will truly encompass your personal style. Appointments are also available to browse the new home Design Center before your selection appointment to familiarize you with our available products.
Pre-Construction of your New Home
A complete review of your home plans, added options, home site layout and color selection options will be performed before construction begins on your home. This collaboration helps verify that all your selections are presented correctly and serves as an introduction to the field staff that will be overseeing the construction of your home. The preconstruction meeting will also cover your availability for jobsite meetings and preferred methods of contact to encourage an interactive rapport during the construction process.
Pre-Drywall
The pre-drywall meeting will take place when your home’s mechanical items are all in place, for expample: electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning. At this time your home really starts to take shape with all its structural features in place and all the inner-workings of the mechanical systems are still visible. We will review the home prints and added options to insure that everything has been installed as per the discussions in the pre-construction meeting. After this meeting, the drywall and all the interior finishes of your home will be started.
Pre-Settlement Orientation
When your new home is complete, we will schedule a pre-settlement orientation. This orientation is a detailed review and demonstration of your homes' interior and exterior features. This review will insure that everything is complete, clean and your home is ready to close.
Our Commitment to Warranty
We have a limited one (1) year warranty that covers a wide array of the items throughout your home. We also offer an additional walkthrough, 60 days after closing to review any warranty items that may arise after closing. This service has become very helpful in keeping warranty items to a minimum as your new home transitions into an occupied dwelling and you become familiar with all of the homes' features. In addition, we also offer a review period 11 months after your closing to insure that all warrantable items have been complete before the one (1) year warranty period concludes. We also enroll each home in the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Program which offers limited warranty on your homes mechanical systems for two (2) years and structural items for 10 years. All of these systems have been developed to insure that you have peace of mind after the sale.
